Helpful Guides for Getting Started

Setting/Changing Your Location

  • When signing into your Jumble account for the first time, you will be asked to enter your location. We use this to find events near you.

  • You change the search radius (how far away we'll search for events) depending on your preference. Drag the circle to mark your search radius preference.

Create a Group

  • Tap the (+) button on the Home or Social page > Select Create Group > Enter a name for your group, a description, link, central location, and a picture.

  • You can see your created groups and groups who have joined anytime on the Social page.

Create Event

  • Tap the (+) button on the Home or Social page > Select Create Event > Enter a name for your event, a description, a host*, date and time, location/link**, and a picture.

  • *You can choose yourself or a group you own to be the "host" of the event. Hosting an event simply notifies the followers of whichever host you select of your new event posting. Selecting a host has no effect on event modifications. You, the event creator, will be listed on the post as the Event Manager, as you have total control over the event.

  • **You can choose to have an in-person or online event. Online events allow you to instead place a meeting link instead of a physical location. Interested attendees must indicate that they are "Going" to your event on Jumble to gain access to the event link. Any other important links can be placed on your group profile page, if applicable.

Scan Tickets & View Real-Time Event Turnout

  • As an event creator/manager, only you can scan your attendees' tickets and here's how:

  • Open Jumble > Navigate to your Tickets page > Select the square icon in the top right > Point your camera at your guests' tickets.

  • After, you can view your event check-ins list to see whose tickets you have or have not scanned. You can use this as a way to track real-time attendance at your event.

Transfer Group Ownership

  • If you would like to pass ownership of your group to another user, you can absolutely do so:

  • Navigate to your group page > Edit group > Scroll down to the bottom and tap "Transfer ownership" > Select the user you want to transfer group ownership to > Tap "Transfer" in the top right and confirm your selection.

  • Your selected user must accept the invitation to receive group ownership on Jumble. This can be done through their notifications page or by swiping left on the home page to open the sidebar menu and viewing invitations there.

Sign out or Disable Push Notifications

  • Signing out: Open Jumble > Navigate to the Home page > Tap on your profile picture in the top left to open the sidebar menu > Tap on your name in the top left > Tap the three dots in the top right corner of your profile page > Select Sign out

  • Change Notifications: Open Jumble > Navigate to the Home page > Tap on your profile picture in the top left to open the sidebar menu > Tap on your name in the top left > Tap the three dots in the top right corner of your profile page > Disable push notifications

Blocking/Reporting

  • To report an event: Tap on the three dots on the event card or in the action bar when viewing the event page > Select report and indicate a reason > Submit report > Done! You can also select "I'm not interested" to simply hide the event from your feed.

  • Thanks for keeping Jumble a safe, welcoming place.
